This is a very useful light. It can be used as a work light but I use it in photography for creating a different kind of mood. Cover it with a colored gel and you've got some nice soft light. For the price, it is worth having at least one, maybe two around.
But this review is really about the stand. If you get the light, it is only logical that this is the stand that is most compatible. Yes, I could customize a mount for the light and put it on something else, but this is a very sturdy stand and it is heavy enough to keep the light right where you need it without falling over. Highly recommended.

Watch your hands and fingers when using this item. The edges are very sharp. Be careful when folding. If you are using the stands for filming, they might require a few more sandbags or weight because they are extra light.
