I've been looking for such an item for years.Goes well with my fish pool and the surrounding garden.Gives off a relaxing soft white glow for hours,sheds enough light to softly light the area around it. Large solar collection plate,on a stake raised well above the ground seems to be impervious to moisture/dirt as compared to lower panels panels.

I am very happy.

Looks nice when new, but doesn't hold up to the weather/elements. Mine is not quite 2 years old and it's ready to be thrown out. The metal light housing has become quite rusty as the black paint has peeled off. Also, the metal light on top has become detached from the base, as it was only held on by glue. Would not recommend purchasing this lighthouse for outdoor use in northern climates.

This is my second purchase of this item. The solar lighthouse is a nice size and you do not have to put it together! I have not been able to use the "spike" that goes in the opening on the bottom of the lighthouse to secure it because then it it not level. The lighthouses have been stable (not blown over) since I've had them just sitting on the ground. The solar light is a pale amber color but the design makes it noticeable.

I ordered this along with the blue and ivory one for my front porch and they were even nicer than I expected! Very sturdy and well made and the solar lights are beautiful and bright!
