These lights are as advertised. Not particularly substantial, but good enough. They give off enough light to read by, but not much more. No complaints, but seems someone ought to be making and selling similar product for less.

I was very pleased with this product. It is a nice brass/ stainless fixture and easy to install. The LED light actually gives off a nice, bright yellow glow, which I was surprised by and very happy about. It is an excellent replacement for old incandescent fixtures on boats. I highly recommend this product.

I purchased two of these light and installed them on my boat. Two things immediately stood out, 1) they are smaller than I expected, 2) the metal housing is very flimsy. Overall, they throw good light for their size, and once mounted, the thin metal gauge should not matter.
