My husband installed a Kichler Lighting 8110NI 3 Light Flush Mount Ceiling Light yesterday. I like the look of this light and the it's easy to install too. Now we try to relocate a similar looking ceiling light that came with our new house to a different room, but we had a hard time to align the 2 short thread pins from the small holes in the light base to the holes in the mounting bracket . Instead of trying again to reinstall the old ceiling light,I would rather order one more Kichler Lighting 8110NI light to replace it.
This Kichler light has a better design. We lined up the 2 long screws from the bracket with the 2 holes in the light base by putting 2 screw drivers throught the holes in the light base from the bottom side. poked through the insulation on the top of the base. Then line up the screw drivers with the heads of the two screws hang down from the bracket. Slided up the base against the ceiling and turn the base slightly so the screws went in the slots. Tighten the screws and the base was mounted on the ceiling. That was easy.
