Rawrrydot, as the Tyrannosaurus KinderGlo is called in our house, is doing his job to get me more sleep at night. Our three-year-old son will absolutely not go to sleep without his "Glow Up Dinosaur" (as he calls it). And the KinderGlo helps our little one get back to sleep at night without much help. Last night was a perfect example. Although a middle-of-the-night wake-up usually leads to a drawn-out process-of-elimination game (Is he thirsty? Is he hungry? Does he have growing pains? Is he cold?), last night our son simply said: "I want to turn on Rawrrydot and then I will go to sleep." He turned on the KinderGlo, put his head back on his pillow and went back to sleep. Lovely!

This is a great product.... My son loved it until it died. The base did not seem to charge the little Dino properly. We had it for 6 months before it died and the warranty was for 90 days only. I am ordering another one in hopes it lasts longer because it really is a great light.

Subsequent Notes > Before I ordered another one, I contacted the maker of the product (Blue Moon Lites) and explained my problem. They gave me some trouble shooting tips (there is a pin sized hole on the bottom of the light that is a reset button I used a paperclip to access it. Resetting the Dino for me did not work). After that failed, they asked for the model number and my amazon purchase order. The person then sent me a new Dino light and asked me to return the faulty one. The representative was so helpful and showed that there are still companies out there that are willing to stand behind their products.

Also that same representative suggested that, in the future, I let the Dino fully discharge about every other week. That will help preserve the battery.

All and all great light made by a great company. I have just purchase a little teddy bear light for the daughter we are expecting in about a month :) So now our house has three of these lights (a Dino, a Elephant, and a Teddy Bear). All cute and child friendly.

This was a replacement nightlight that died after 4 1/2 years of use. Terrific design, soft design & ease of use make this the perfect nightlight. My son (4 1/2) LOVES the "sharp-tooth dinosaur" and the changing colors. He has even perfected selecting the color he likes for each night. Highly recommend this product to any one with a child!

We do have the twilight turtle, 2 in fact. But they didn't light the room up enough for our child who is experiencing some fear of the dark. So we bought a mobi. The mobi quit working after several months. So we bought the KinderGlo Tyrannosaurus. The first night my child slept with it. It's great. The blue is a little bright but not so bright it hurts your eyes. The color changing setting is really cool, but it will not last all the way through the night like a solid color does. Overall it's a great nightlight. Fun looking, safe and it does it's job well.
