The concept is great, but both lights flicker and have issues. We have only used this at home about a dozen times in bed. For this price it should be more reliable.

E-mailed their customer service dept 3 days ago to see if they will cover under warranty -NO RESPONSE!

i originally rated this item 5 stars when i first got it. but after using it for a while the lights flicker and the flimsy battery cover has broken one of the little legs that hold it in. it is super bright, which is great and i would love it except for the flickering issue that others have also had. i hope they release a newer version with this issue corrected because i would definitely buy it.

Both lights flicker on and off. If you flick them really hard sometimes they stay on for awhile. Really really annoying and could be dangerous to people with light-sensitive epilepsy.

Much safer and more bright than candles. Works during hurricanes! Also good for outdoors as a flashlight. Must have when the electricity goes out. Keep in the car when traveling at night.

Works great, the best book light I ever owned! It adjust well to use with Kindle. Can be place and adjusted so there is no glare or reflection of the light on the kindle. Love this light!
