I bought this to add some light when camping in our pup-up trailer. The low paper is a huge bonus and it is incredibly bright for 10W. The unit feels solid and appears to be well made.

Light worked great, installed two on my mower deck for late operation. The power supply board needed a little refinement to accommodate the vibration. Opened the unit and a little extra 5 minute epoxy applied to the components restored the full operation. I realize this is not designed for high vibration, but it works well now.

These lights are very nice and they light up my backand frontyard nicely. I have about 15 of them in my yard. I purchased a 300W 12v DC transformer separately and hooked them up. Note that they are DC and not AC like other garden lights, so you can't just buy a tranformer at home depot.

There is another MAJOR issue:

When wiring several of these lights up in parallel the voltage across the wires drops significantly. I noticed that after the 4th light the voltage dropped to about 6-8V down from 12V and the lights become too dim to use. This means that I had to pull multiple separate lines of wires to each sets of 4 lights. This was was not only painful and labor intensive but also very expensive as wire is expensive. So while the lights themselves are nice and give good light, if you plan on installing multiple lights, think again.
