I ordered this bulb for indoor horticulture purposes to give a more "sun like" spectrum to my indoor plants and they love it. This bulb burns very bright white, and when using a home made spectrometer, it shows a very similar pattern to actual sunlight, vs. my conversion MH that was a more broken up and banded spectrum. The bulb runs extremely cool, hardly raising my temperature in my grow area (air cooled hood) and the plant's really seem to like the full spectrum. Much tighter node growth, more vibrant colors. For about 1/2 the price of a "horticulture" bulb, and with a much better P.A.R. value, this purchase was an easy decision and I am glad I purchased it. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a veg/bloom all in one bulb, or someone who would like to get a little bit more out of MH growing.

I've heard great things about these Ceramic Metal Halide (CMH) bulbs for growing vegetables. You usually have to use two separate light bulbs when growing fruits and vegetables. This bulb combined both MH and HPS bulbs into one! I've had great results and highly recommend it.

This particular bulb seemed to have a hard time firing compared to my other bulb (of the exact same type), so I contacted BulbAmerica about simply exchanging this bulb for another. I was told that they need to discuss how to handle the issue, then I was told I need to return the bulb for a whole EVALUATION to see if its a Manufacturer Default or User Error, etc,,, Quite frankly I just wanted a Simple exchange, and they wanted to make a Federal Case out of it, and in the meantime, I still needed a bulb. It was going to be simpler and easier to just buy a new bulb (somewhere else) and call it a day, so that's what I did, and the new bulb is just fine.

BulbAmerica offers TERRIBLE Support and Customer Service!! Wont shop with them again.
