These are wonderful lamps. We bought a pair to use on our bedside nightstands. The "chocolate chrome" finish is gorgeous and blends in with our dark cherry furniture. Very stylish design. The light color is very pleasant 3000K which is a warmish white. The on/off button lights up when the lamp is off and is a gentle night light, but not so bright it disturbs sleep. Once you press the on button, hold it down for the lamp to cycle from bright to dim and back. It has quite a brightness range. Lift your finger when the light is adjusted to your liking. And the lamp will remember the setting when you turn it off. They are tall enough to use as a bedside table lamp, but you can adjust the height and swivel. We chose the "desk lamp" version rather than the equivalent wall mount version because it would be easier to reach the on/off switch when laying down in bed. We've had them a week now, and we love them!
