For one...they don't flash. Yes the headlights are bright. 270 lumens?...not so sure about that. I don't know if these are significantly brighter than my 150 lumen flashlight. Still...they are plenty bright compared to relatively equally priced bicycle headlamps.
These DO NOT flash. Is this a deal breaker? ...not it my eyes. I think that you will be plenty noticible without the flashing light. They will illuminate well enough to see...and be seen.
The construction of the flashlight portion of the light is pretty solid. The mounting is adequate.
The rear light came pretty dinged up. Were they used or just poor packaging? Not sure...and at this price...quite frankly...I didn't care. They work... you are visible.... The post clamp is pretty wimpy. It also didn't fit my seat post. Good thing it still clips easily to my saddle bag. So....anoyed..a little. Would I recommend buying the package?....hmm. sort of...not the greatest quality...and not as described. But...for the money, it is more than adequate. Just think that the description should reflect the product.
