20 years ago when I was using this bulb as a TV news photographer/videographer, this bulb was the standard of the industry and cost over $50. Now,with the advent of LED lighting, only folks that have kept their tungsten light heads in operation are using them and the demand for them has fallen, hence the price has also. Now they are a great buy.
