I was looking for pretty solar lights, and these don't qualify even as "lights". The single bulb with the tiny battery doesn't even show up when lit. Total waste of my money!

This solar garden accent is heavy glass, about 6 1/2" in diameter by about 8" above ground level. It has a sturdy base (probably 4-5") for inserting it into the ground or planter. We use it in the center of a 12" pot of Mexican heather (low growing).In the day time, the blue glass with aqua swirl is very attractive popping up in the center of the plants. At night, the swirl gives off a very dim aqua light. In the right spot, this is a beautiful accent. I love seeing it on the patio from the house. Mine is located in full daytime sun, and glows all night.
We originally intended to use this in the front garden, but it was too small to show up well there. We love it in its current location and would recommend it to anyone with a similar use.
