The lite was just as described and works fine. BUT, the light that it puts out is ugly, white and fluorescent-type light! It does not make the artwork that you use it with look good. Would be a great product if it gave off a softer and less-harsh light.

I purchased this light because I have a painting hanging on a wall with no outlet. It works great, with good light quality and does what it promises. My only complaint is that the batteries don't last very long. I had it on for one evening and a day and that was about it for the batteries. For infrequent use, it works well.

I ordered 3 of these to go over some Art Work....they have the option of Dimming, which i love and the clip on works great. I am thrilled and would recommend this product

Switch didn't work on first of two units purchased. Light was insufficient when lit. Returned both units. Looking for better quality unit, presumably at a higher price.
