This is 2nd purchase of the lights. The first set lasted a couple of weeks when the transformer quit. I like the lights so much I wanted another set. The transformer with the 2nd set confirmed that the 1st transformer was the problem, not the lighted stems.
The lights really need an on/off switch so one doesn't have to physically unplug the transformer to shut the off.

We had one set of these lights which were purchased from a Seattle retailer. We liked them so much we wanted another set. We ordered through Amazon and the first set delivered came in a box that was pretty much destroyed and the transformer was missing. It was replaced fairly quickly, but unfortunately the second set had some lights that didn't work. By that time it was nearly Christmas and we decided to just live with it. We are disappointed in the product quality.
