This lamp cost more than I anticipated having to pay, but it's worth it! There are no overhead lights in the room where my baby grand piano is, so this provides much-needed light over my music when I play after dark. Due to the width of the lamp, all pages are very visible even when I have 4 pages spread out on the music stand of the piano. My piano is white, so this lamp matches and blends in much better than a brass or black version, providing a very classy look.
