This work light is very bright and will light up the whole room at night. I was able to do electrical work with no power to a basement room by the light of this work light from about 20 feet away. Battery life has been good so far but not severely tested. I've knocked it over 3 times without a scratch. It is made of plastic, but it is a resilient plastic that doesn't seem particularly brittle. The charge light indicates red when charging and green when charging is complete. Mine came with a wall charger and a car charger. This would probably be good to have in the car for emergencies. I highly recommend this work light.

The Designers Edge LED work light is the best work light I've ever had. It's light weight, very bright, and it's cordless. It runs a long time, 5 hours, on a single charge, although I've never run it all the way down. It has a Lithium ION battery so there is no need to completely run it down before recharging it. I use it for what I need, plug in the charger, and wait for the red LED to turn green indicating that it's completely charged. Charging only takes a couple of hours.The work light has all of the features I want. I recommend it.
