I bought this for my fire helmet. After two months, and before any interior fire use, the strap broke, while moving my gear, and FoxFury won't cover the strap for more than one month. I guess the strap isn't good enough quality to be covered in the 1 year warranty boasted on their site. $80 for the flashlight, and its poor quality is my problem. Grrr.

This light has served me well it cuts through the blackest areas as well as smoke. Great light, very bright and love the three settings. The battery pack is not an ideal size for my Cairns helmet, and I can't imagine it would be for many helmets. I looped the band below my visor arms and it holds on well, but if you don't have a visor plan on loosing this light easily. The light is OK, but the strap is pretty frail. After mine broke, I checked into a replacement. $5.99 is not bad for the strap, but the shipping was ridiculous! $9.50 for something that will fit in a first class envelope is not acceptable-I will make my own.
