I purchased 4 different models and styles of LED gu10 bulbs to greenify some halogen track lighting in my home gym. These have a true flood pattern with no hot spot and are 100% dimmable. I'm using the Lutron LED/CFL dimmers. Other bulbs flicker or cut out when dimmed (even ones that claim to be dimmable), these are smooth. Will be getting ten more of these.

About 18 months ago, I discovered Lights Of America LED bulbs on sale at Walmart, so I grabbed a couple to check them out. They worked quite well, so I bought several more to place around the house, over two dozen of various sizes and types.18 months later, not a single one of those bulbs is still working. For what you pay for these things, you could buy a lot of incandescent bulbs, and a lot of electricity to run them. 18 months is not a reasonable life expectancy for something like this.
If I had been running these bulbs 24 hrs. a day 7 days a week, that would come to about 12,000 hours, far short of the lifetime they claim. But I didn't run them 24/7, I used them like normal people use light bulbs, for a few hours each night after dark. A generous estimate is about 2,000 hours of total use, before every single one of more than two dozen Lights Of America LED bulbs failed.
I believe that's a fair sample size, and a fair test, and I can put my hand over my heart and say that "Lights Of America makes crap".
I truly believe that LED technology will lead us into the future, but it won't say Lights Of America on the side of the bulb.

Being a big fan of LED light throughout the house to save electricity I ordered one of these for the GU10 style track lighting in my office. I was unable to install the bulb in the socket as it would not lock in (the GU10 has about to be rotated clockwise a few degrees to lck in). I compared the base to the removed halogen and anothe brand LED and found the pins appeared to be ever so slightly shorter. I returned it and ordered another thinking it was just an odd QC issue. Nope, second one would not fit either. The ceramic base in my fixture may be to blame, but every other bulb, no matter the brand or type, has worked fine. These create a nice soft white color even for an LED. I am not the biggest fan of soft white light but these do a great job in our guest room where people seem to like a lighter less harsh light compared to our daylight bulbs elsewhere in the house. shape of bulb makes it incompatable with most G10 fixtures, light output is very pathetic (mood lighting?) and cost is highwasted my money
