This is a product that is out of production. The current equivalent product is 421222. This is a 25-degree, 3000K LED bulb that puts out 1200L. This is the highest Lumen that any standard LED puts out today. The product number for a wide spot, warm white Philips LED PAR38 is Philips (425462) 19.5PAR38/END/F36 2700 DIM 6/1 LED Flood, which is what the previous reviewer should have gotten, judging by his review. The previous reviewer was victim to poor product information, and got the wrong bulb for the job, unfortunately. This bulb is great, I own a few as well as the warmer, wider version. I did a LOT of research into modern LED bulbs, and this is the brightest household LED on the planet at this time, and the build quality is excellent.

I was looking for something brighter than this, but lucky me, this bulb is useful.

This particular bulb provides a very soft light. Very relaxing and easy to read my or just to listen to music. And it doesn't get hot. so over all, useful, and i ordered what I needed from home Depot. Sorry Amazon.com, but I had to do it.

Now i need counseling because I feel like I cheated on my favorite .com site.

I bought this for my bathroom. When I put it in the fixture, it just turned into a spotlight for my toilet. Not exactly what I was going for. This isn't much of a flood light at all.

Though I have yet to see the true benefit of LED, I can one say one thing.

My store looks bright and amazingly the heat emitting is very low so

I'm able to lower my A/C settings.

We use these bulbs over our design table in our frame gallery. Great natural lighting, keeps the colors true so our customer knows what their project will look like upon completion. Works on a dimmer also.
