Review of Feit Electric BPA15/LED/RP Accent LED A15 Bulb, Frost

Incandescent bulbs burn out every time you bump them, and CFL bulbs die quickly in the harsh environment of a family refrigerator. But this LED bulb seems to be hardy, and it's bright enough for us to see our food. To see for yourself, check uploaded photo of our refrigerator, taken in an otherwise unlit room at dusk, about 8:00pm Pacific Time on June 1.

Sturdy, reasonably bright light bulb. Couldn't ask for more.

These are perfect for outdoor lighting. Enough light to see clearly, but not the extra wattage, or excess brightness that causes glare to the neighbors. Received the product as shown (not the wrong product as other reviewers reported).

Pros:

-Low power consumption; only 2W (I measured this with a Killawatt meter).

-Shape and size provide a good spread of light inside of our refrigerator.

-Cheap.

Cons:

-Light is a bit colder than the incandescent fridge light we replaced.

For what it claims to be, is not as bright as a 25 watt, and for me coming from 2x40 watt was an adjustment. But for the price and the lack of heat, it is more than workable in my fridge (with two lights in there). The frosted one is necessary as the non-frosted one makes it very difficult in a fridge application.

They did exactly what I purchased the item for. More light than I anticipated. I will look for other locations around the house to utilize these LED lights.
