This is an excellent emergency flashlight, but appears to be best suited for rescue, firefighters, and the like, because the beam is focused very narrowly. If you want something around the house to use in power outages, looking under the porch and so forth, you might be better served by a different unit. Non LED, if that matters to you.
Absolutely bomb proof quality piece, just not for everyone.This is one POWERFUL flashlight. If you need real bright light, this is the rig for you.
