All plastic and feels very cheap. The light is very dim. You can only turn it off by folding the light. I would pay ~$3.00 for this but not $44.00. Then again I don't like having cheap stuff around.

I love this little lamp. The high-tech style is great and fits easily on my small night table. When I am not using it, I just fold it down. When I am using it, I find the amount of light just perfect for reading. It is well made and sturdy and just perfect for my needs.

I got this light for a dark spot where the desk is and it is great! I love the fact it folds down if you do not want to have it open all of the time.
