The description is self-contradictory to begin with! One line says "AC 85-285V". The next line says "Input Voltage : DC12V". Both are wrong. As best as I can tell, it is simply a 1W LED in a very nice reflector. On my power supply, it draws about 330 mA at 3.2 volts. It produces a nice bright white light at 1W. The reflector produces a useful spot beam, and it swivels about 30 degrees in the outer case. The reflector that holds the LED is also a solid heat sink for the LED. Quite nice.
PROS: Excellent little white LED spot light in a nice swivel fixture.
CONS: Connect it to DC12V or AC 85-185V and you will burn it out. Wires are kind of short.
Suggestions: If you want to run this at 1W with a 12V source, you need a 33 ohm/5W resistor in series. You will burn about 3W in the resistor. You would really want an LED driver chip to use this properly. The light works very nicely with two 1.5V rechargeable batteries.
