i was going to use them for my dental loops but clearly not enough power/wasn't sharp enough of a beam. good for reading at night as they were intended though. super lightweight.

Both my husband and my son do a lot of close work and detailed hobbies. I bought one of these for each of them for Christmas. They love them so much I'm ordering two more to keep in different areas of the house where they work on their hobbies. Highly recommend product and seller too.Best Deals for Eye Glasses Reading Glasses Adjustable Bright LED Clip On Light
This light clips on to the bridge of your glasses. It is adjustable and lights up what is directly in front of the LED. It's not a very broad beam, so I use it with reading glasses that have lights on the temples (yes, it is quite a sight!). It works well in any low light conditions and is great for reading in bed when you don't want to disturb your bedmate. I would have given it 5 stars if it cast a broader beam of light.Honest reviews on Eye Glasses Reading Glasses Adjustable Bright LED Clip On Light
I purchased this light to use on reading glasses to view star charts when I'm out at night using a telescope. I "painted" the LED bulb with a red Sharpie marker to enable me to keep my night vision.I tried using a piece of red painted masking tape, but this made the light too dim. So far it's been more convenient to use this setup than a lighted magnifying glass or red flashlight and reading glasses for my old eyes, I just let the glasses/light hang by a strap when I'm looking into the telescope eyepiece.
This clip on light would also be great for reading at night, or for closeup work with other things...light is not too bright, but sufficient to light up immediate area.

I thought it would be brighter, it served no purpose for me, I work in the dental field and a couple of operatorys do not have a over head light, when I used it just a little light showed in the mouth of the patient I still could not see very well. But it was only $8.00, so iim sure it would serve a purpose if you were in total darkness.:)
