This is perfect for my night light. Much brighter than 10 watt incandescent, slightly dimmer than 20 watt bulb but those run extremely hot! These LED bulbs are relatively cool to the touch. Light is actually a very pleasant white no shades of yellow, no shades of blue. Very satisfied with quality.

Temperature wise I'd put this at about 4000K pure white. Don't let the "warm" scare you it just means there is no blue harshness to the beam.

Excellent product! I purchased this product to replace all of the 10 watt halogen bulbs in my low voltage lighting system for the front of my house. Color and brightness was equal to what was stated in the description and definitely meets my needs (Note: I purchased the warm white bulbs). I have not had any "burning issues" as mentioned in a previous review and all of my bulbs have been going strong for several months now.

This bulb is absolutely awesome. Replaces any G4 for a bright white light (Careful as it is a bit taller than a halogen bulb, if space is an issue). Does not have the blueish tint like some LED bulbs. I think the color temperature was 3000K. Perfect replacement.

I used this led bulb in my outdoor landscape lights. I was tired of buying expensive halogens that would only last a fraction of a year.

I installed one right next to a traditional halogen bulb (Phillips to be exact). The color of these LEDs is slightly whiter than the halogen, but would not be noticeable if you did not have them side by side. In fact it is hard to notice when they are side by side.

The uniformity is better than the halogens! The lights I have leave a circle on the pavement. With my halogens I would say the diameter of the circle is 36" and then 34" diameter with the LEDs.

I should also mention that I tried a philips LED light as well that I got at Home Depot. This large LED barely fit into my light and did not spread the light very well because of the size. The G4 LED fits very nice in my fixtures and had LEDs on all sides to spread the light.

The other advantage of having these LEDs is that with my small transformer (only 45 watts) I can now add more lights without having to buy another transformer.

If you are on the fence about these lights, DO IT. I am very picky when it comes to color, uniformity, and cost of my bulbs and this LED has all three. I am very excited to make the LED transition.

I've been trying to upgrade my 10w 12vdc halogen bulbs for years, but all of the LED bulbs I've been trying were either too large, too dim, or were off in color. These bulbs are truly a perfect match in terms of brightness and color.
