This bulb is the best I've owned... It is a nice white light with a color temp of 5000k... A color temp. of 2700k 3000k are too yellow for my liking... This is just what I was looking for... Great for my desk in my home office...

I wanted to replace the two 40 watt fluorescent light tubes in my garage with LEDs. Three of these bulbs installed in Home Depot's Hampton Bay White 3-Light Ceiling Spotlight (It appears to be the same product as the Angelo Brothers 66326 Three-Light Multi-Directional Ceiling Fixture) worked perfectly. Energy usage was reduced from 80 watts to 36 watts, lighting was much better (even though total lumens were slightly less) since the 3 spot lights could be directed to give more even lighting. No buzz, no UV, better lighting, longer lasting, and power savings that should pay for the bulbs and light fixture....it seems like an obvious choice to replace the fluorescent lights. These LED bulbs produced a white, day-light brightness, that is very much like the fluorescent bulbs they replaced, so I'm very satisfied with my selections. I'll have to let you know if they fail before the more than 20 year-life I expect out of them....

Hint: If you use the three-light fixture, remove the black baffles in each spotlight; it will provide for a brighter, more even lighting with these LED bulbs.

This product was very competitively priced and was delivered very quickly. it gives off a very bright light for the wattage. If you don't want a bright daylight bulb you may want to choose warm light. I like the day lite.

I purchased this lightbulb to replace a cfl in a lamp that I used a lot. I specifically chose this lightbulb because of the 75 watt equivalency. This bulb produces less light than your average 40 watt bulb and therefore is not worth the money. I hate to say it, but it looks like I'll be switching back to the cfl bulb and putting this one in the pantry.
