When CFL's came out 15 years ago or so, I decided it was prudent to replace the 8 canister lights in my kitchen with CFL's. Well when one finally died I could not find the replacement lamp at any local store, including some who specialized in just selling light bulbs. Their suggestion was to replace all of the lights with LED's for nearly $200!
Thank goodness for Econotone and Amazon.com! I quickly found a case of the lights at a reasonable price and had it at my house in short order.
