This bear is really cute. Be sure to to enlarge the picture and take a good look, there are a few white spots on the brown "fur". So, if you are looking for a perfect paint job, you will be disappointed. The few white spots are not that noticeable and the bear is very cute. The solar lantern does not make a bright light to light a path or steps, etc. it is more of an illumination. Think decoration more than functional. Arrived very well packed and in great shape.

I bought this bear more than 2 winters ago, has stayed out in the open on my deck in northern Ohio. Still lights beautifully, survived falling off my deck, MR thought he be cute on our railing, our Cat disagreed. Is starting to get a little faded but like I said never took in. Just LUV HIM sitting on my round table

Just wanted you all to know made it through another Ohio winter has faded to look like GrandPaw but that's OK. Still lights and thinking about repainting him but since I'm 60 and MR is 70 kind of perfect for us.

Had I received all the pieces to mine, I would have gladly given this item a 5 star rating. The part I didn't receive is the metal triangle under the bear's paw that holds the lantern. I didn't realize that I needed an extra part at first and nearly broke the paw trying to force the lantern on the hook, but luckily I went and checked my PC and seen that I was missing a piece before I broke it. So I fashioned a metal triangle out of a wire coat hanger and voila! everything was hunky dory. Troubles aside, the bear is adorable and looks great in my yard!

I've had this product for 2 months and the lantern has already quit working. That, along with the fact that I didn't even receive all of the parts has convinced me to change my 3 or 4 star rating to a one star rating. Avoid this product.
