We bought this ceiling box to install two small bubble lights to spot a buffet in the dining room. There weren't alot of other choices rated for Insulation Contact and Air Tight. Although the box is intended for new construction, it worked fine in our 'old construction' application since we have adequate access above the ceiling. Positioning the box using the between-stringer-supports was easy (cut off the tabs to make it fit when the ceiling sheetrock is already up). My favorite feature was the push in wiring box and connectors. By far the easiest fixture to connect I have ever installed.Nothing special about this, but it was easy to install and hookup the power to. Search for the trim kit from the same manufacturer for a nice, clean installation.
