"I love these bulbs. Some people complain about daylight bulbs, but you immediately get used to them and never look back. James and I work all night almost every night.
We waited a long time for the LED bulbs to go to daylight spectrum. We had already changed all our bulbs to daylight spectrum several years ago, but the LED's seemed to take forever to come out. The main reason for changing to daylight was because we decided that we prefer working all night.
The daylight bulbs have perfect spectrum for reading. Being Virtual Freelance Paralegals, we read all the time, and I am always working on a computer. When these bulbs were finally available, we decided to try just a few of them, and see if they were like normal spiral and/or halogen daylight bulbs. We have track lights all over the house, and these GU10 type based regular bulbs are expensive due to burning out so quickly, and they produce a lot of heat; plus they were not daylight spectrum.
I could not wait to replace all of the tracklights, and the orders come very quickly. Torchstar has been wonderful to order through, they are quick efficient, and they are pleasant to deal with. In the fast paced world in which we live nowadays, you could not ask for a better company to purchase through. Last week, I had to deal with a company that I purchased something from through Amazon, and I was extremely irate about it. The product was supposed to be here in 2-3 days, it was Amazon Prime, and after ten days, I suddenly realized that I needed to check the tracking. The claim was that the address was wrong. After placing several hundred orders through Amazon Prime, I don't think so. The next excuse was that the item was damaged in shipping, and sent back. So? why did no one send out another one, when it arrived back to the supplier damaged? Totally Incompetent. Then, they did not even give me a refund. I had to spend quite a long time dealing with the issue just to get a refund for something that I never received.
A true pleasure to deal with these other vendors or suppliers, such as Torchstar. That is what keeps me coming back to Amazon.
So I have replaced 22 bulbs and am getting ready for the rest of the house, then on to the yard as well. I am ready for the rest of the bulbs inside and out. Believe me, it takes no time to get used to them, and your vision is so much more normal with daylight spectrum. The one drawback, James was quick to point out to me, that dust is much more easily seen. But hey, if that is the worst thing I can say about a bulb...
Once you change, you will not go back. And these Dimmable LED GU10 6000K bulbs are just what we need to keep us feeling good and being cheerful, even at 4-5 am. Fresh as a summer breeze, enjoy the journey yall!

I have center track lighting in every room of the house. So minimum of 5 bulbs per room. MR16/GU10 bulbs. I outfitted the whole house which came to 55 bulbs. I did this 2-3 years ago and paid 20-30 dollars per bulb and could not find one that was strong (lumens) or bright (3000 vs 7000)enough. It cost a lot of money. I LOVE THESE BULBS. I will post a pick on amazon, which is where I purchased them from. Shipping was very fast. I purchased 20 as a test and will purchase another 25 now. All 20 worked, all the same shade and I am amazed at how bright they are. THE PRICE IS PERFECT! I will brag about these and will be suggesting them to a friend that owns a art gallery. This light is very focused which is good for a theater room. The light shines at a 45 degree angle and has little bleed over. This means that I can put light where I need it and not white out my 150 inch projection screen. This light will not work well to light up a whole room as it indicates that it is a 45 degree beam.Honest reviews on TORCHSTAR Dimmable LED GU10 6000K Daylight Spotlight 110V 4W (330
I recently replaced all my kitchen halogens with dimmable LED's, but of the 2700K warm-white variety. When they first arrived I was disappointed in the color temperature. They seemed to emit a green hue and reminded me of a CFL color. But now, a few months later the color temp seems to have "burned in" and is now very close to a warm-white incandescent. With winter coming up I was thinking of getting a full spectrum lamp to help with my winter blues. But reviews stated all you really need is a full spectrum or "daylight" bulb to do the same job. So when I discovered they make LED's in the same color temperature as the ones used in those "daylight" lamps, I was excited that I could replace the remainder of my halogen GU-10's around the house with these 6000K daylight bulbs.They arrived very quickly (see my pro/con list) and when I went to install them they were just a few mm's longer than my halogens. I had to make an easy mod to the sockets (removed an in-line metal clip), but otherwise they fit. I flipped them on and... hello cold blue light! I was surprised and initially disappointed because I wanted something that resembled daylight, not a cold blue xenon street lamp. Then I remembered how my 2700k bulbs looked initially. So I'm going to let these have a burn in period to see if the color temp levels out and becomes more like the claim of "daylight".
For now, here's my pro's/con's list for these bulbs.
Pro's:
::Shipping was incredibly fast. Ordered on a Thursday, arrived the following Monday. (Please see caveat below under Con's)
::They fit (with minor housing mod).
::They do dim, and they are quiet I'm using a Lutron 600w load dimmer (used to dim 300watts worth of halogens beautifully).
::They're bright.
Con's:
::The least expensive shipping option was ~$2/bulb. I ordered eight bulbs and shipping was right around $16. So the effective price of these bulbs is not $5.99 but more like $7.99 to your door. Not a huge issue, but I thought I was getting a better deal than my last round of LED's, until I got to checkout.
::Initial color temperature puts off a very, very cold blueish xenon street light color. Very stark and very unnatural (not at all like daylight on the planet Earth).
Again this review is being written two days after install. So if there truly is a burn in period that allows the color temp to settle into it's long-term color output, then these may work out. But if I knew they were going to stay this color their entire life I'd send them back tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed the blue starts to mellow and more of the pure white starts to show. I will post an update in a week or so after they've had some time to run.
