These were used to replace the cheapies I had in there before which were burning out in rapid succession. The cheap ones don't have a cover over the bulb area and emit a pinkish light which looked terrible with my blue colored hanging low voltage light covers. Seems like a good price, probably impossible to find them locally anyway without spending $6 on gas.

These bulbs were much brighter than the ones that came with my lights from HD. I wanted brighter ones than the 10 watts that were included. They are much clearer light and the focus is better.

I have a fixture that uses several of these type bulbs all of which were no name, generics. When one burned out I replaced it with this Sylvania. It is noticeably brighter and slightly whiter than the bulb it replaced. It looks better so I'm going to replace all of them.
