This flashlight works great, runs cool. I used it for plumbing under a sink, plenty of light, not quite a flood light but it has good beam spread. It ran 3+ hours and then I used the battery in the drill with no apparent end of charge. LED's should last almost forever so you never have to replace the bulb.

I have couple of other LED flashlights to compare it to and the 160 lumen output seem fair.

This is a well designed light, which I find useful in many situations. It can light up a small area of the desk in front of me, or it can light up a wall 20 feet away. With the adjustable head and the rear pull-out hanger it's easy to get light where you need it. Very little drain on the battery. Highly recommended.

I modded this with a 450 lumen LED bulb:

I had to modify the bulb housing a bit, but altogether not that hard. The beam it produces is a wide flood with an intense long range spot. Battery life still seems like forever. Now I could not be happier.

I could have bought the xenon bulb version of this flashlight and done the same thing, would have saved money.

I expected a LOT better from Milwaukee, especially for $60.

This flashlight is easily outperformed by the $10 LED variety that take regular batteries. "Decent" would be stretching it for light output.

Yes the battery life is great, but that's really just a matter of the battery being great, NOT the light. Well, I suppose if you consider how dim this light is then I suppose that contributes to long battery life.

Here's a suggestion Instead of just one level of output (Low), have multiple. That way users can decide if they want dim light all day, or lots of light for few hours, or something in between. The batteries charge in 30 minutes so your not SOL if you run out of juice (plus you probably have more than one battery on hand anyway).

If you absolutely must have a flashlight that uses M18 batteries, and if the light output of a disposable is enough for you, only then can I recommend this.

I bought this LED Worklight as an extension of the M18 set I already had. I figured, since I have two of those rechargeable batteries, I might as well put them to good use. And I have to say, this is by far the best and brightest lamp I have ever owned.

It puts out a bright cone of light of about 90° and the head of the lamp can be rotated to different angles.

It was already a great help during a repair under the sink: just put it into the cabinet, light facing up and had plenty of indirect light to do everything. Even when looking for something in the garden at night it's phantastic. The grip/handle is nicely shaped and the on/off switch is like a trigger under your index finger.

The Milwaukee 2735-20 M18 LED worklight is handy to use and provides a bright, but not glaring, light. The M18 battery gives it a secure base and the ability to aim the head vertically is very useful. A little pricey, but well worth the cost.

The light is easy to install and very attractive in design however the area the light illuminates is minimal. There are 6 LEDs in each lantern however the light is very dull. I compared it to candlelight. I have 5 solar LED lights on stakes along side my walk and they cast the same amount of light as the 12 in this. If it is to be used as decoration in a garden or along a path then it will be be fine. I wanted something for more security along my city street and it does not cast enough light for that purpose. It has a sturdy and elegant design and it is better than the nothing I had before.

i am a professional woodworker. tools are very important to me and i've used most of them by many manufacturers. i was between this saw and the festool and i went with this one. it is a fraction of the price and performs great. the light is very helpful in getting a good cut in low light. balance is good, weight is good, blade change, etc.... basically the only reasonable alternative price-wise is the bosch, which i've used a lot, and i prefer this one hands down.

I purchased the earlier version of this jig saw about a year and half ago directly from Amazon. From what I can tell, this model is the same except maybe more ergonomically designed. I would have to say this has become one of my favorite tools. My past experience with jig saws were to use them only if nothing else worked. Now, I purposely try using this saw on anything I can. It works that good. It is very well balanced without hardly any vibration and has a lot of power. The variable speed is great and the barrel design gives you a lot of control. You can change the blade in seconds. The LED really helps seeing for precision cuts. Maybe the Bosch equivalent is as good but I would not buy without an LED after having that feature. I've purchased a lot of tools over the years from about every manufacturer and this is the only 5 star rating I've ever given a tool.

This is a really great jig saw. It cuts straight and smooth, and the LED task light is a great little feature that makes for a huge improvement in the ease of use. The saw feels substantial in your hand, but is also quite nimble when making tight corners or smooth curves. The cut is very smooth when the saw is in "0" straight cut mode and very quick and aggressive in the "III" mode. The speed control and pendulum cutting mode gives the operator a wide range of control over the quality the cut in a variety of materials and thicknesses.

I strongly considered the Festool jigsaw as an alternative to this one, but I'm glad I went with the Makita and saved $150. I do own other Festool products so I appreciate their level of quality and design; however, this Makita saw easily matches Festool in terms of quality and "feel" of the tool. Of course there is no dust collection on the Makita, but with most cutting operations on the jigsaw most of the dust falls straight to the floor anyway so I don't really miss the dust collection.

The saw comes with a durable hard plastic carrying case that has a little bit of storage in it and a fairly long heavy-duty cord, both of which are becoming quite rare on tools these days, but are certainly appreciated.

I got rid of a top handle Milwaukee ( yes..a Milwaukee product) jig saw because it was dangerous to use, the trigger was very easy to trip with the slightest touch..I came close many times to cutting myself from just normal use. ( I am a seasoned woodworker of 18 years and a home improvement contractor )

I purchased the Makita 4351FCT because I liked the barrel grip design and I trust the Makita products....in my business they just hold up in the every day use. But like many products Makita has their so so tools as well. I put my tools to work right out of the box, it has to feel right, operate without vibration and the switches, knobs, cords, etc have to be in the right place... the tool has to be balanced in the hand and sing quality.

So far the makita barrel grip jig saw is a keeper....built like a tank but agile like a sports car. This tool will be hard at work for me. Consider this one for your next purchase.

This is a great saw that fits well in your hands. The addition of an LED light near the blade was brilliant, it can really help when trying to do precise cutting and your body hunched over the work blocks the direct light. I debated between this one and the Festool and my ultimate decision was based on two factors:

1) Price about $70 cheaper than the Festool Jig Saw

2) LED that little light is a big deal

Most jig saws have the same limitations (e.g., the blade can wander, etc) and you'll never get past them (if you can't stand any blade wandering, buy a scroll saw), but once you get to this price range ($150+) you are typically looking at a quality saw and it comes down to personal preference. To me, Festool excels when it comes to dust management, something I don't find to be too much of a problem for a jig saw. Makita is a brand that I don't think gets enough credit, you will have a hard time finding much of a selection at your local hardware store, I don't mean to say that Bosch and Dewalt are poor choices (I have quite a few of their tools, too) but recently I've made sure to take the time to evaluate the Makita offering before buying.

The one note of caution I have on this saw is that the systainer style case shown in the picture was not the case that my saw came in. Not a big deal for me since I don't have other systainer style cases, but it could be to others.

One other thought is that you should probably go to your hardware store and hold a barrel grip saw before buying this one. The experience is a little different than the standard grip and not everyone will love it.

These 1 watt bulbs are exactly what I wanted for my front door. Many might think it should be brighter, but with one on either side of the door along with a street lamp it's great.

The reason for the 3 stars is that one of the two bulbs failed after less than a week. I will order another and hopefully this failure is an uncommon occurrance.

This is a great night light. It doesn't keep me awake because of it's soft red glow, but I can see perfectly when I need to get up in the middle of the night. No more banging my shin on the corner of the bed! A regular night light was always too bright for me to be able to sleep. Plus the benefit of this is the low wattage and long life of the LED.

LED lights are still a new world hard to find very bright or very dim. I bought this for a night light, and it is a little bright, not bright enough to light a room, but more than you need for a night light. The light color is cold, stark white, not warm and candle-like like a low-power incandescent. I put an aged-parchment colored shade on the lamp, which helps, but it's still pretty spooky white. The bulb runs cool and lasts a long time. Like most LEDs on the market, it'll do for now, and by the time it needs to be replaced, there will be something better available.

I bought two different types of solar crosses for use as a cemetery marker. I was disappointed in the moisture that got into this one which was the more expense one by a few dollars compared to the other one I also purchased through Amazon. Also the following week a chain store The Christmas Tree Shoppe had it on sale for six dollars cheaper, so I wish I had purchased two of the ones that sit higher, are taller, were cheaper and look better.

...I put it on my picnic table where not only does it look good, but it does get alot of use. Prayer is part of this household, so when you eat out there, there is still a pray before the meal. An the people that go by, well i hope it just might put a spark in there heart for our "Heavenly Lord Father in Heaven" !

...Now for one of the bad points. It lights all night, it is very good that way. But the light is not all that bright. So what i did was put small solar coach lamps on both sides of it. They highlight the cross and it can be seen alot better.

The light is very bright with a single LED. It is easy to install on a wall. It lacks top conduit entry for drop ceiling. To install on drop ceiling, a junction box is required. For wall mount or installing on a junction box, i would give it 5 stars.

When I received these lights I opened the package with apprehension because I expected them to be a little on the cheap side. Not the case!! These lights are of excellent quality. They have an aluminum housing with heat sink rear, they are painted black. They are heavy and the mounting hardware is all stainless steel, very impressive. The wiring is sealed coming out of the rear housing and is covered in a heavy rubber cord type covering. I wired them up and waited for dark. Turned them on and holy crap they turn night into day!!! I am very impressed with the light quality as well. I have installed many sealed beam type lights over the years and these LED's put them to shame! I will be purchasing more of these lights. Excellent Product!

Lights work great, but mounting harware shows signs of rusting the day after installation ( it was raining). Cheap mounting hardware, but lights are solid...might have to change to real stainless steel mounting hardware!

Update 09/02/2013..3 months after installation on my car as driving lights and probably less than 10hrs of actual use...3 LED failed! Contacted seller for return/replacement...will update later...lose another star for pre mature part failure!

Update: Seller will not return/refund...loses another star...

Recommendation: NO!

I haven't used this particular indoor flood but I have used many 20,000 hour Aerotech outdoor floods for signage at our business. We use a set of five bulbs running about ten hours/night.The bulbs are up high and I want to minimize getting on a tall ladder, so I like the long life bulbs. They do last a long time! Every once in a while any bulb can be a dud as with the previous review.My experience with the outdoor bulbs has been positive over an eight year period. For how long they last their cost is an excellent value.

cheap and efficient. very bright. i got the blue thinking it would be a little less blue than BLUE, but its a very deep blue. blue :)

It isnt the most well made LED strip you can think of, but it works flawlessly. the plastic casing over the adapter was coming off as soon as i unwrapped it, but not enough to be any sort of problem. and besides the cheap feel of the wiring, it still doesnt pose any problem.\

I use it for my 5g fish tank, originally for daytime use, but since the blue is so dark i use it as a night light, and it looks great!

I recommend it for such use, however im still unsure if its waterproof :X

Cheap R7s J118 36 SMD LED White Halogen Flood Light Lamp Bulb 8W

I don't know why the so called "torch lamps" got such a bad rap, I like them, but it's true the original halogen tubes suck down electricity like Melissa McCarthy sucks down ice cream.

I just removed a 300 Watt halogen tube, and replaced it with this 8 Watt LED, and it seems just about as bright to me. I know, the math doesn't quite add up, at 420 lm this LED should be roughly equivalent to a 60 W incandescent light bulb, but it seems as bright as the halogen to me. This one is the middle of the road "white", my favorite LED color ... not "warm white", not "cool white", but just plain ol' white. I think they look brighter, and the color is more natural.

I can't comment about longevity (I've had trouble with other LED manufacturers), all I can say is this thing works great right out of the box, I'm ordering more.

The 82v lamp is very good and can be used in replacement service for the 87.5v lamp. The lamp life would be shorter when installed under those conditions. Shipping was very fast, faster than expected.

great for spotlight as needed....Seems to be built to with-stand some beating and super compact!!! wished it had come with both ac/dc charger. Box states battery can be charged about 500 times but who knows??? I do recommend this great work light as i use for detailing my personal car in the garage. Don't really like the silver part on the outer case but i guess i can paint to piano gloss black.
