Forget about the the landscape solar lights you stick in the ground on a stake... After taking those out to cut grass or just wear and tear make them in effective plus the lights are dim..... These ones....wow..... I drilled a hole ...sunk them in and turned them on and wow ......greatttttt! They are out of the way, recessed, neat, water proof, stainless steal....and a bright light for one led...... remember this an accent lighting not a flood light smile......
They can be sunk in the ground on in a wall, facing up or on its side, works great and the charge last easily 8-10 hours a day..... charges in good light or when cloudy......

These lights look great in the garden during the day. The quality looks good. I have them placed near steps that range from full sun to 90% shade. The units in full sun are bright until about 9 PM when they start to lose power and finally power off about midnight. The ones in the shade or partial shade are never bright and power off about 8 PM, sometimes the ones in the shadiest spots do not come on at all. If you have a full sun location for these I would recommend them highly, otherwise something else would be a better fit.Best Deals for Smart Solar Step Light
I purchased two different types of solar step lights to see what we would like in our new landscaping outside. We put batteries in them, turned them on and placed them outside. This product's light comes from the center as a strong beam of light. Some days haven't been as sunlit as others, but it continues to produce fairly decent spot lighting all through the night and into the first part of the morning. Time will tell, but we like the light they put out, we plan to purchase some more to install in the dirt area around our front yard.Honest reviews on Smart Solar Step Light
These are by far the best LED lights I've seen. Very bright, last all night and are a professional quality light. Really do a great job and look fantastic in my patio as up-lighting.But...I purchased six of these light and now three of them are not working after less then a year. I called the company and their customer service was not very good. The first one I had go out I called the company and they had me take the batteries for a day to reset it. Then I had to contact them again after it still didn't come back on and they sent a replacement. Now I have another three that are not working. I'm not looking forward to contacting their customer service again.
If I rated the light and quality of the light when they are working, I would give it 5 stars. Because I have had issues with them less then a year later and their customer service is really not great, I can't give it more then 3 stars.

True to stainless steel quality, bright lights, gives enough light to see your way in the dark. Also adds a nice glow and upgrades the look of your home surroundings at nights. Works quite well after fully charged in direct sunlight and still works when sunlight is low. The only problem is it should be waterproof. Problems arise when water gets inside but when the water is removed and it is dried, it goes back to work but in rare cases it does not.Well worth the purchase. I love them so much, that I have purchased a few sets, after those previously bought became waterlogged because I did place them on my tiled steps. Because it is non-waterproof, I gave it four stars.
