The Item is good and works good until now,...the only thing I never image,...was that I imaging that the item was more big, and too that was for desk, but could be my error, because I never tried to buy a book lamp,...but all is good too. Finally this lamp do the same that the big I wait. Thanks.

Best Gama Sonic Baytown Solar-Charged LED Lantern, Pier Base for Flat Deals

My options for solar lights on a dock post were limited and this Gamasonic model were one of the few that fit the dimensions I had to work with. The light it gives off is enough. It's not enough to read by, but for a soft, decorative glow it's fine.
As for the rust, I just noticed it yesterday. I used stainless steel screws but the screws are not the part that is showing rust, rather there are specs of rust on the base that have appeared after only less than a month of installation. It's not even rainy season so I'm not sure what to think. i have two and one is fine but the other is showing signs of rust. I'm disappointed.

This is perfect answer to lamp post that has lost power. The base was concrete and its 50 feet to the house. Time to go green. This lamp throws plenty of light. Easy to place on pole. Construction not high quality but still looks good and price is right. I'm very happy with the lamp.Best Deals for Gama Sonic Baytown Solar-Charged LED Lantern, Pier Base for Flat

My wife and I first bought this lamp for her to use near her computer in order to reduce eye strain. The lamp was so bright and flexible, that we decided to get another one for my office. We love these lamps. We also love the fact that they are long lasting and huge energy savers. According to the manufacturer, these lamps are supposed to cost about $.08 cents a year to operate using them for 4 hours a day! You will not be disappointed with this lamp!
Please take note, this is an initial reaction only, and cannot yet reflect the long term favorability of this item. Still, I have reason to make this post. The quality of light from this lamp is good... it's not too narrow a beam, it is quite bright, colors look good. The rest of the item, however, comes packed in an aura of 'cheap.' Perhaps for the price, that is appropriate BUT still... the frame is wobbly and insecure; the reflective plastic under-cap around the LED itself was, on both lamps, poorly attached (two out of four screws on BOTH were screwed into place at an angle, leaving the screws hanging partially out.) That indicates to me improperly maintained factory equipment (if two out of two randomly selected lamps have the same problem.)
Beyond that, there is the matter that this design, while suggesting a long life (of the LED itself, that is) is essentially disposable... which detracts somewhat from the whole point of being efficient. The LED is irreplaceable, and while the packaging suggests tens of thousands of hours of LED light, the frame just doesn't feel as though it will last more than a modest fraction of that time... and the whole thing has a short 3 year 'limited' warrantee.
After my initial experience destroying a walmart-bought floor lamp with a CFL, I was hoping to find a simple (if not ugly) lamp into which I could just screw an even less watt-heavy LED bulb and not have it implode on me. I've yet to find that, so this lamp will have to do for now. Still, the make of this is dubious to me... though I suppose, with care, it might last as long as the LED that you cannot replace within it.
I got it for my dorm room in college and it works very well.
Looks nice, but you can't replace the led and it apparently only lasts about 10-11 months then starts strobing instead of steady light. I bought 2 of them and they're both junk now.

I've been on the lookout for an LED-ready alternative ever since I bought a floor lamp that suicided 20 seconds after having a CFL screwed into it. That's made me nervous about purchasing anything in my mission to be efficient and cost effective. I have been looking for a LED lamp for awhile now and came upon this one by Sunter Lighting. I bought a lamp made by them a few years back and loved it so I already know they make good lamps. I picked this 6W LED version for my 6 year old son's night stand. He uses the lamp for reading his books at bed time. It moves in many positions so he can position it the way he likes. Overall I am very happy and i think it is a great value and hopefully last for a long time. Reviews of LED Under Cabinet Lights - Contractor Kit
Posted by

on Monday, December 15, 2014
I purchased these for my kitchen as under cabinet lights on the counter and lights inside some cabinets with glass fronts. They wired together very easily and come with installed double stick tape or screws to attach the lights and wiring to the cabinets. I don't care for fluorescents and the xenon lights just put out to much heat to put into the cabinets to make me comfortable. These put out a good amount of light (slightly blueish in colour) and draw very little electricity. I am very happy with the way my installation came out and with the product.
I had some of these get so dim after a year that I had t replace them with the Zenon ones. Very disapointed.
For a clean install, buy some extra 22ga hookup wire and a $16 dimmer switch.
Put transformer in basement, run power through supplied switch through wall to dimmer.
Then run wire to Fixtures. I mounted fixtures just behind face of cabinets and right next to eachother.
The result is a really clean look with no exposed wires. There aren't cones of light like that from undercabinet pucks.
Instead, a perfectly even illumination of cabinet and backsplash.
I absolutely love the result and with such low power consumption, I have no problem leaving them on all the time. Now they are often the only lights on in the house! Only wish the fixtures were black, but would still buy this set again in a heartbeat. Led is the future. The future is here.
I can't believe how easy these were to install. Took less than two hours to install all three sets of lights. The two longest parts were pulling the backing off the stickers and cutting the wire to the proper lengths.
First we laid out how we wanted the lights, then pulled off all the plastic covers and wire caps. I plugged in the transformer and hooked it up to the switch. Then I cut the wires to the proper lengths and laid them in place. Then we just snapped on the wire caps, and we had light(s). Mounting the lights easily took the longest time because I am challenged by pulling paper off of sticky things. Once that was conquered, we stuck them in place and were done.
Once we were satisfied with how things looked, I went back later and screwed the lights into the cabinet.
The lamps in the box were very well packaged and the shipping speed was excellent. One light by itself does not produce much light, but the 6 under our cabinets produces plenty of light to see in the bread machine or on the cutting board.
Information for the energy-conscious: I hooked 11 of these lights up to the Watt-O-Meter, and it was reading 7 watts. When powered off for several hours, the total energy usage recorded did not register even .01 kilowatts used. The third set was used to replace an under-cabinet fluorescent light over the sink. 3 of these LED lights are about half as bright as that 20-watt tube, with much less glare.
If I had more cabinets to do, I would buy these again in a heartbeat.
UPDATE (2/26/13): Over a year later, these lights are still going strong. We leave one set on as our "don't come house to a dark house" light, and our electric bill hasn't changed. These lights are still as bright as the day we put them in, and have seen a lot of use. The only minor issue we had was the sticky tape was not holding, so we put in small wood screws bought from {insert local big box home improvement store here}.
I have recommended these to several people, and will continue to do so.

Connex LED Under the Counter Lighting System was very easy to install looks wonderful. Added a PWM Dimmer to the circuit and made the system even more pleasing for added Mood Lighting effect.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for LED Under Cabinet Lights - Contractor Kit
I expected these lights to be just a little brighter, but still a decent choice. The pictures you see probably have no gaps between lights and utilize every inch of space under the cabinets. They are very easy to install and are 20-30% brighter than the typical round LED lights you would find at a store. The price seems on the high side but when you compare the number of lights with a retail store (number vs. price), this is actually very cheap. My entire kitchen is now lit with lights left over. If you are placing these on 2 sides of a galley kitchen, buy an extra spool of wire.Best NFL New York Jets LED Desk Lamp Deals

Its been almost a year now and my lights are working perfectly well. I believe others that are having problems with theirs may also have bad outlets or power surges that can affect these items if left into the outlets. Being that I take mine out in the mornings and plug them back in at nights, I may have missed the surges etc. (Just guessing). Overall I would by this product again... especially if they add an on/off switch.

I purchased this product at SAMS CLUB just because it looked quite upscale. The housing is well built and very decorative. The light is quite bright and brighter than the ones I have always purchased as they are a dull yellow and this is a nice bright white light. There are only a few draw backs with this light. Most Apartments are dark even during the day and so the auto on/off function would be better complimented with a hard on/off switch. I have kids that wake up at night and walk to my room, just asking for things from the kitchen or just being afraid and want to be comforted. This light will work well if approached from the front but the angle of motion sensing from the side (Angle 45 degrees) is left wanting. You have to be directly in front of this unit or almost up on it before it comes on. I paid $18.00 for a pair and I have to be plugging it out of the outlet during daytime to prevent it from going on. Overall if the manufacturer could just fix those two issues it would be perfect.Wider Angle of sensing

I have a couple of desk lamps that have halogen bulbs. I have had these lamps for many years without the bulbs burning out. One of the bulbs got flaky on me one day, yet still works so I decided to go and find replacements. This is one of the bulbs and was easy to change and now I am hoping for many more use of use. As with all halogen bulbs make sure you do not touch the bulbs with your bare fingers. I used a Glad sandwich bag. Before I purchased the kit, I actually went to the Inspired LED site to check out for more information (you can do a web search to find them). They pretty much offer the same thing with the same price. But I did find the recommendation of a wall box to deal with the wires coming out of the wall (from my existing undercounter light. I want to reuse the existing wall switch so I need something to fix up the wires to make it more tidy. It is a bit heard to find since it is sourced through a different supplier. If you want, you can see my other reviews on that wall box (and power brick as well).
Without the dimmer, the light is adequate so I did not even bother hooking up the dimmer. I know I order the cool white version, so I have no issue with the coolness of the light. It is the same as my old flourescent.
There are probably too many long wires and too few short ones.
Since I need an extra bar and they are not available from Amazon, I end up ordering an extension kit (extra light bar) from Inspired LED site. If you need extras, you can go there and order directly.
The double side tape does not work well with my cabinet's wood surface, and I replace them with my own tape (3M varieties) and these works fine.
The combo includes everything you need to install 3 "lamps" of 18 inches long each. The "Cool white" its as white as a standard fluorescent tube light, and with the transparent acrylic case you get a nice distribution of light without "zebra-like" spots.
The nice thing with these LED light that you will never have with Fluorescent lights or those Spiral bulbs is DIMMER! I like to control the amount of light under my cabinets or on my desk; and these lights have a 4-steps dimmer.
The other thing I thought of when I bought these was that if a strip goes out you can just buy a replacement for pretty cheap.
In the end these were well worth the money. We also got the on/off switch because it was smaller and we didn't need the dimming effect. (Our cabinets do not have a lower lip so there's nothing to block the view of the lights and switch so it's nice that they were fairly thin and hidden by most views).
Pros: thin profile, sleek looking, pretty bright, easy to install, easy to expand system and connect lights
Cons: none

These lights are very easy to install. These lights put off a nice bright light and work great. I dropped the lights on the counter a few times while installing them and they survived just fine. I only wish they were thinner, although I think, because they are in the kitchen I think these are better than the ribbon lights because they'll be easier to clean. Oil, meat, etc... fly everywhere when you cut or cook and thus installed lights need to be easy to clean, so the plastic shell of these is perfect. The other thing I thought of when I bought these was that if a strip goes out you can just buy a replacement for pretty cheap.

I was trying to find an alternative to hard wiring in some under cabinet lighting as I really have no way to do that at this time (although they do have an option to hardwire these directly to a switch or even a dimmer switch). I found these and was a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews but I thought I'd give them a shot and if I didn't like them, I'd just return them. I was pleasantly surprised when I plugged them in for the first time. They are thin in profile and have a good look to them. They also were much brighter than I expected. Don't get me wrong, they aren't flood lights but they are pretty bright and do exactly what I need them to do. I also like the fact that they easily daisy chain together and install very easily. I bought the cool white ones and am very happy.Pros: thin profile, sleek looking, pretty bright, easy to install, easy to expand system and connect lights

Really don't bother..
I ordered four of these and installed them in our Kitchen High Hat lighting. The light from the bulbs was not quite what I was expecting, which didn't concern me, and I quite liked the light it produced.
one of the main reasons I bought the bulbs was, I imagine, just like you, be greener and reduce costs over the lifetime of the build. The manufacturer indicated 50,000 hours so it seemed like it would be worth the additional cost for the bulbs.
The issues came a little over a month of use, since it's installed in a kitchen it only gets use about 1-3Hrs a day. After this time the light began to fail. One by one each one started to provide a light show, where half the led's would flash on and off until the lamp got bored and the the flashing half would stop working all together. a few days later and the lamp fails entirely.
So within a month and a half of use, here's what we ended up with:
Bulb 1 Dead
Bulb 2 Half LED's Failed
Bulb 3 Dead
Bulb 4 Half LED's Failed
Conclusion... Don't bother. You can't be green with this bulb.

DO NOT BUY!
I have found that these lights are pretty amazing. It meets the specs on the bulb. It uses very little electricity. It is a non-glare. The light is in the white spectrum, not the normal warm color of a floodlight.
Problems that happen when people use these:
1. They want a warm glow, like you would find in an incandescent.
2. They want a bulb that pumps out the same amount of light, so they can't look at it like a normal bulb.
I am using these bulbs in my kitchen. I am very happy as I replace the old incandescent bulbs. They do not seem as bright, but if you measure them with a light meter, it is labeled correctly.

EDIT: This was a great bulb till it died a month later. I contacted the manufacturer and they stated they can not warranty the bulb, in spite of it stating a 2 Year Warranty on the package. They said I have to go through Amazon. Amazon states I can no longer return the bulbs.DO NOT BUY!

This bulb does not provide enough light to be a useful replacement for a Par20 in ordinary room lighting. It's okay for accent lighting, though the bluish tint may not be suitable for all purposes.Honest reviews on VFL Par 20-LED Floodlight Bulb
This is the only true white light I can find for par 20 light cams. plus very low energy use. light is dim but good enough for kitchen when not cooking. Only problem is bulbs don't last burned out in months of part time use when should have lasted for years. Much better buy at $9 than they were at $24. Amazon refunded/replaced my first 3 no questions asked. However, by now I hope technology has gotten better. Also, since I know they can burnout, I feel I'm on my own.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for VFL Par 20-LED Floodlight Bulb
I purchased 36 flood lamp bulbs for one of my offices. 14 bulbs failed within 3 weeks. The remaining bulbs lost their light quality within a few weeks, and I was forced to replace them. Neither the manufacturer nor Amazon were willing to refund my money. Under no circumstance do I suggest anyone either purchase these bulbs or deal with this seller!Best SODIAL(TM) LED Flex Neck Reading Book Light Huglight (Blue) Deals

I bought this for convenience when reading bed time stories I can lay down with my son and read without having to fuss with a flashlight. He enjoys using is it a toy when thwarting the enemies, too :) The lights are great, with 3 different selections on each side. The only thing I would change/improve is the battery section. When laying down, it kind of digs right into the neck, and the cover snapped off the second time we changed the batteries. Otherwise, we love it.

These marker lights looked like the solution for marking a dinghy at the dock (too many dinghies look alike, and it is tough to tell them apart at night). I am not sure if this is going to work the way I envisioned. The charge does not last as long as I would like, and in order to switch the light/flashing function on and off you have to remove a small cover from the back and set dip switches. Also, one of the two lights in the double package stays on even in bright daylight. Pros are the small size and relative brightness.
They are not bright enough to be legal but plenty bright enough that a few neighbors were concerned thinking I'd left my lights on and not wanting it to run my battery down. I also had 2 cheap pathway lights for my anchor and night light @ the helm. Again if you want to be seen they work, but are not bright enough from far enough away to be legal replacements for 12 volt marker lights.
