These marker lights looked like the solution for marking a dinghy at the dock (too many dinghies look alike, and it is tough to tell them apart at night). I am not sure if this is going to work the way I envisioned. The charge does not last as long as I would like, and in order to switch the light/flashing function on and off you have to remove a small cover from the back and set dip switches. Also, one of the two lights in the double package stays on even in bright daylight. Pros are the small size and relative brightness.

I got a set of these after getting thoroughly dissaponted in the 12 volt light life expectancy I had experienced. They are not bright enough to be legal but plenty bright enough that a few neighbors were concerned thinking I'd left my lights on and not wanting it to run my battery down. I also had 2 cheap pathway lights for my anchor and night light @ the helm. Again if you want to be seen they work, but are not bright enough from far enough away to be legal replacements for 12 volt marker lights.
