I bought a couple of these bulbs from a local store for a comparable price. I was interested in testing them out in a few niches in our home, including miniature table lamps and the fake candles placed in the window around Christmas.
The light quality is very good, similar to that of incandescent light bulbs in terms of temperature. The spread was very good with the table lamp (an upright socket, not a horizontal one) casting light just as well as an incandescent. These also put off much less heat, feeling only comfortably warm after being on for a while.
I would rate these bulbs at 15-25w equivalent which is suitable for the aforementioned tasks. Pricewise, they could be cheaper, but time and economics will fix that. This is a ok replacement option for a incadecent. I have another LED that I got which was little bit brighter. Even so, I would buy another one of these if the price beats the other LED options as it gets the job done.
