I bought these knowing that I would need to buy the "housing" that contains the socket and light bulbs. I didn't realize that ONLY Wac's very expensive integrated-LED housing could be used, I wrongly assumed that WAC also had more conventional bulb choices that would fit. Each LED housing costs between 160 and 200+ -plus the trim sold here. I really didn't want to pay so much for the housing without even seeing the light quality of the LEDs. Finally I found a place showing it, the 18w warm (3000K version)light was plenty bright (I plan on using dimmers anyway), so I took the plunge. They are now installed and the light is really beautiful and the trim looks gorgeous. If the LEDs lasts 10 years (as some say they will), it will be a good investment to boot!
