This is a beautiful product and it is ultrathin. I recently purchased but sent back as the chrome surface was marred by two small indents that both contained the clear imprint of a circle. Looking around to the back these are directly in line with the screws that tighten the mounting plate to the chrome face below. It appears that these were mechanically over torqued by machine at the factory.
It looks like this could've simply been an errant bad setting in the machine and I have no idea if it is a regular production fault. It really is a pity because this is a very sleek elegant fixture and if you're looking for something with a small and very thin footprint it definitely serves the purpose.
If the chrome surface have not been marred my electrician would've installed it yesterday. I would've given it at least four stars if the appearance on the visible chrome side had not been flawed.
I cannot comment on the light output or the color of the light as it was never installed.

Not for kitchen to expensive only enough light for a small closet.you would need at least 4 light for a 8x14 room .

I've purchased five of these (three chrome, two white), and I'm very pleased with them. They are sleek, modern, and provide nice, warm LED light. I installed two of them in two separate walk-in closets, and three in a hallway. They were relatively easy to install, and I didn't notice any manufacturing defects. I don't have them attached to dimmers so can't speak to their dimming capability, but they put out bright, uniform light with a pleasing color temperature. These are really geared towards spaces such as closets, hallways, etc. -while they are bright, their light throw isn't hugely significant, so you wouldn't want to use one to light a very large room. I've bought a range of Ledino products now and I've been pleased with each one. It's great to see Philips getting creative with different form factors for LED lighting, and in addition to style, you get all the benefits of LED (long life, lower energy usage, less heat generation).
