Like several other commenters, I only got a year out of the bulb before one of them went bad. The light was in a bathroom and only gets about an hour of use a day. These lights are supposed to last years and years.

Not impressed, one of them burned out after about 6 months. For LED, this seems unacceptable. Looking at my Amazon order, it says return/refund period expired months ago. I have 2 others that still work as of this writing. They were purchased shortly after first one. Can't wait to see if they last longer.

The light produced is too cold for inside the home. One bulb burnt out after just a few months; I was under the impression that LEDs tend to last for years. I submitted for a refund; I believe it has been approved.

I returned this item because I wanted a screw type socket and it puts out a light beam that looks like a zenon flashlight beam. That being said the light output of this bulb and its energy efficiency are crazy. I measured this and a bunch of other bulbs with my I1display2 ambient light measurement device and my kill a watt current detector. The results of my tests and observatios indicate that this bulb is even brighter at its focus than the Feit 13.5 watt flood light in spite of it costing one third as much and consuming only about half the energy. I don't know what the reviewer is smoking that thinks its not equivalent to a 50 watt incandescent. I guess none of the led lights will fill as wide an area with light as incandescents or cfls and that was what he was talking about. Anyway, even though the beam is extra narrow looking that emits from this bulb it puts out so many lumens that there is no competitor in ten dollar led flood lights in light output even if you do measure on the periphery. Its too bad its not an outdoor light. If this company made floodlights like that that were ok for damp conditions I would practically stock up on them. As it is I'm going to try out their ten dollar regular 6 watt lightbulb and post a review for that too in about a week.
