I ordered two of these to try in my Lowe's bought Portfolio floods. I will be ordering more today. The problem with the floods is that a bulb with more than 2 inches in height will not allow the outside protective lens and grommet to seat. This bulb does fit. It does not give as much light as the 20 watt halogens it replaced, but the light was more than sufficient to show off my garden at night. Using LED's to replace all my halogens, I have now reduced my outdoor lighting wattage from 300 watts to 120 watts.
