I compared this bulb to the following:
TORCHSTAR LED GU10 3200K Warm White Spotlight 110V 4W
Lighting EVER 5W GU10 LED Bulbs, Warm White, Flood Beam
Lighting EVER Dimmable 4W GU10 LED Bulbs, Warm White
HitLights DuraII 5W GU10 LED Dimmable Warm White Spot light Bulb, GU10 Base
Onite Dimmable Gu10 LED High Power Spotlight Bulb Warm White 6w
I was primarily looking for a bulb that best mimicked a halogen bulb, therefore, my criteria was: Warmness (yellow, not blueish), Brightness, Dispersion or spread of light, which are the primary ways that LEDs tend to be inferior to halogen. This bulb was by far the warmest in color and had a pleasant color is was really the only bulb that didn't have a noticeable blue tint. This bulb was also the brightest of the 6 very close to the level of a halogen bulb and much brighter than most of other bulbs. The dispersion or spread did not match a halogen, but it was above average for the LED bulbs. Really, the only bulb that had better dispersion was the "Lighting EVER 5W GU10 LED Bulbs, Warm White, Flood Beam", but that bulb had a very strong blueish hue to it that was not pleasant at all (although the name of the "Flood Beam" bulb implies it is a similar bulb to the one I'm reviewing, it is not similar at all).

So far, the light these LED's throw in that forward direction is pleasing; but if your fixtures are designed to use the ambient light that comes out of the sides and base of a standard MR16 GU10 halogen bulb, you will notice that these LED bulbs give off significantly less light. In that regard, they only throw light like a flash light. So, the 50 watt "equivalent" rating only sort of holds true if you are putting these LED bulbs in fixtures that are designed to throw light like a flash light.
