I have had 8 of these lights for a long time and have spent HUNDREDS $$$$$$ on replacment
rechargable batteries. They are good for rescue if the rescue is only a Hour or Two
other wise you be in the dark with no light.
So have a back up light. When the rechargables die this time so will the lights
a battery is about $ 80.00 you can but a lot of Akaline Batteries for that money.
Now if they made a LED Verision i would give them another try.
Also they are not water proof at all im not sure why the Fire Dept even uses them
as the are open on the bottom ? MADE in USAi bought this as a gift for my firefighter husbandhe was thrilled-said its one of the best you can gethe was very happy!
