Review of LED Wall Wash Light, Black

I picked up 7 of these and two spots because there were a lot of rave reviews, that Amazon, for some reason, deleted them all. These wall wash lights are just GREAT! These lights give you a very nice wide spread of a pleasing yellow light (kudos for them not being that sickly bluish LED lights) against the walls that provide enough reflected light for a nearby walking path (so you don't even need those pagoda tiered walk way lights)(my path is about 10 feet away and the reflected light off a moss green wall was enough). They do put off a lot of light, equivalent to having 30 to 40 watts, which is pretty amazing. The end result was, WOW! And only 63 watts for 9 lights! I should have done this years ago!

Now a couple of pointers for you DIYers, for the tranformer, I've read you should have double the wattage of the intended lights. For me, these LEDs give me a lot more capacity. When you clip the lights on the cable, bring a pair of pliers because if you are angled wrong, then you'll be bending the sharp tooth that cuts into the cable and you'll need to straighten them with the pliers. I put these lights in about a couple of weeks ago in the cold Northern weather without any problem. Good luck!

This light appears to actually use 10 watts, not 7, but the light it puts out is fantastic. It will light up the entire side of your house. I bought about 10 and lit up most of my yard for about the same electricity as one 100 watt bulb.

I bought three of these lights for a back wall of a courtyard, largely based on the other reviews about the quality of the light. These lights do produce a warm, glowing light on the wall not at all "LED harsh" like some other LED lights. I was originally going to order 4 lights for the 25 foot wall, but the three are quite enough to make a nice glow at night along the entire wall. I would highly recommend these lights.
