This is a really effective sensor for a small to medium sized room. What I like most about it is that it listens for sounds when it turns off. If I haven't moved at all for a long time and the lights shut off, all I have to do is say something and they come back on. No more standing up and waving my arms like with other sensors I've had. This would work really well in a restroom (unlike others I have encountered). From what I can tell, it only uses the microphone after it has already sensed that you are in the room using the normal sensor, so you don't have to worry about noise turning it on while the room is empty. You can turn the microphone function off (I will probably do that if I put one in my laundry room at home) through a programming process that I haven't experimented with that looks pretty easy.
