I purchased these lights for outdoor retaining walls, I needed 30ft for each side, so when I read that you can cut these at 3 ft intervals , I thought perfect. Oh was I wrong , when I made the cut , the factory section would not turn back on and after about 20 min of messing with the connection point I got the one section to work for now, not sure for how long though. Very frustrating , and 3 emails with no answers from the seller

I do use a CBconcept LED Round Rope Light on our porch and had a short from rain coming into the power cord connecting clear plastic tube. I am glad i did not need to buy me a whole new Rope Light, just this Power Cord. At this new one i simply attached some electric tape at the tube connection to prevent this from happening again.
