Product met expectations and would recommend. Bought to add on to system. Easy to install with a screw driver. Didn't need to do anything to sync it with the system. Light is very bright.

I bought these not for emergency lighting, but to add a celing light for my dinning room (which does not have a wired ceiling light). So I purchased a nice wired dome ceiling light fixture from Lowes, stripped out the bulb sockets, mounted the fixture, mounted 2 of the MB985's which came with the remote control and replaced the frosted glass dome. Now I just grab the remote, turn on the lights and presto, I now have light in my dinning room. And I now have an emergency lighting system in my house too!

Have a closet with no wired light. This works absolutely perfect. A lot of light for battery operated. Love it.

This is a wonderful product to own. I bought the basic set and purchased two additional ceiling units for my home. Mounted on the ceiling in each room, they project about a ten foot diameter beam of light below. One controller plugged in the wall operates the entire system. I am ready for the next blackout or storm, without fumbling for a flashlight. A must have for your home.

I guess this would have been OK, but we attached it to the ceiling in the kitchen and, within a couple of days, it fell to the floor and that was the end of it. We had bought a complete kit of this brand a couple of weeks earlier and they are fine as of right now. But this one light we bought separately is no longer with us.
