The wires aren't really made for wall sockets. Real wiring for light switches are more robust gauge. This seems more like a toy.

I ordered 3 of these lights and installed them without issue. They work fine and easily serve the purpose of lighting a stairway. While they are not nearly as bright as a 7 watt light, they are bright enough. I would have preferred them to be a little brighter though.

I put this nightlight in a powder room as a way to simply see the entrance area at night. It's mounted 48" above the floor and actually provides a nice glow to the majority of the room (it's a 5' x 5' area). The sensor works very well and actually shuts the light off when only a minimal amount of light hits it. I thought this was nice as I've had other nightlights that almost never shut off, even if the sensor was directly below a light source.

The only negative comment that I have is that it's actually more of an antique white color. I painted my walls bright white, so this light would probably blend in with most other shades of white.
