I've tried nearly every PAR38 LED light bulb on the market, and this is the best one I've found:
It is sufficiently bright to replace a 90W/100W incandescent.
The 60-degree light beam is sufficiently wide to cast a reasonable looking light pattern in my household; many other LED bulbs have very directed light, resulting in the area right below the bulb being extremely bright, but areas outside being a relative shadow.
The bulb is an array of many LEDs, not just a single super bright LED, nor a small array of 5-10 CREE LEDs. This helps give a uniform look to the lighting
The bulb is instant on. This issue seems to mostly be fixed in current generation LEDs, but some still have a noticeable 1-2s delay to turn on. This is especially noticeable if you have a mix of different bulbs.
Color. If you're looking for 2700K, i.e. incandescent replacements, this is the best LED color that I've found. There's many LED bulbs that advertise themselves as having a 2700K soft white color. In reality, many of them are significantly different from the classic incandescent color. This bulb's color is the best LED I've found (subjectively measured in my home)
Dimming. This bulb was compatible with a dimmer I had, though it's range was less than with an incandescent (i.e. it could not get as dim as an incandescent could). But at least it works with the dimmer, which is better than most current generation LED bulbs.
Price. Hopefully, the price on these will drop to the 30s (or lower), but you can now get them under $50, at least, so it's a plausible price. (One other candidate which I haven't tried is the ~$125 35W PAR38 from altled using the bridgelux chipset. It looks like a good contender, but at $125+ per bulb is just too pricy for me to consider in bulk).
Heat. I haven't used this bulb for extended periods, but in initial review produces about the same amount of heat as other PAR38 LED bulbs that I've tried.
Durability. I haven't used these long enough to draw a conclusion on durability.
