I purchase three of these for the outside front of our office but unfortunately it is winter and you have to charge the batteries for about 6 hours before they light up. Well, we have not had six hour of sunlight so, they were not lit but they still are beautiful and brought an elegant festive feel as you walked up to our office doors. For 2013, I'll start charging in the summer and hope that works! :)
