Writing a review for a bulb may seem strange and somewhat unecessary but if like me you've been burned by shoddy package or sub-standard lights then I thought it would be helpful to write my experience with the Eiko F15T8. The bulb went into a GE 16466 18-Inch Basic Fluorescent Light Fixture which, although it came with an existing bulb, I felt it worth trying the Eiko to see how it looked.

The bulb itself was amazingly well packed (perhaps too much packing!) and arrived intact and it slotted into the GE fixture which I installed into a video arcade machine for the game's marquee. The bulb lights up without delay and is flicker free and works perfectly. In case you're unsure of a bulb's numbering system the F15 indicates it's (F)luorescent bulb rated at 15 watts and the T8 is for (T)ube-style at (8)x.8" which means it's one inch around. Finally the CW is for Cool White in color.

Everything works great and for the unbelievable price you should definitely look at this one.

I am using these bulbs in a motorhome. I had concerns about the adaptability in an RV and using them with an inverter. However, they are all that I had hoped for and are working very successfully.

I ordered four of these tubes for my RV 12VDC lighting system. Inserted the first one and found it has a white light vs the yellow of my other tubes so replaced all four with the new ones. They work so what more can I say? Just remember if you currently have tubes that produce a yellow tone these will look strange if you mix them as these produce a white light.
